Landon Carpenter
High School InternLandon joined the church in the fall of 2003 after having been a counselor at Thee Camp. His inability to leave after such an awesome week led him to become a Sunday school teacher in the seventh grade department for two years, and now a year with the 9th grade. What brought him to Dallas was the Masters of Arts in Christian Education program at Dallas Baptist University, which he completed with a youth ministry focus in the spring of 2006, somehow getting through in just over two years despite taking Systematic Theology from none other than Dr. Jim Denison (that's no easy task).
He now doubles as both the intern here at PCBC and a juniors volleyball coach for Skyline Juniors Volleyball, coaching various teams through his four seasons and the Greenhill School as the varsity assistant. Landon also continues his playing career with a men's team he captains called Next, a team that has never finished worse than 7th, and completed the 2007 season 2nd in the nation.
